Alex Raeburn

Alex is a barrister at the private bar predominately practicing in family law. He was called to the Bar in 2015 having started his legal career as an articled clerk at Connolly Suthers Lawyers and leaving the firm after having been a partner of that firm since 2010.
About Alex
Alex became a Queensland Law Society Commercial Litigation Accredited Specialist in 2012, having a particular focus on personal and corporate insolvency.
Whilst based in Townsville, Alex has a strong regional practice, regularly appearing before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in both Mackay and Cairns. He has also regularly appeared in the Brisbane registry and has conducted trials in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
Alex’s practice includes conducting trials in domestic violence proceedings throughout the State. Alex enjoys practicing in family law and providing practical advice to assist people through what is ordinarily one of, if not the most, stressful period of their lives.
